Luis Ángel Franco, better known as El Flaco, is one of the most beloved and recognizable voices in banda music. With a career of more than 25 years, he has earned a reputation as one of the genre’s most powerful interpreters. Born in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, his love for music began at an early age, inspired by the legendary Vicente Fernández. His professional rise took shape as the lead vocalist of Banda Los Recoditos, a role he held for 16 years. Beyond music, El Flaco has also made his mark as an entrepreneur, opening the restaurant De Alcurnia and the barber shop Grandes Ligas in Mazatlán, both popular spots in his hometown.
