Los Socios del Ritmo is a legendary Mexican group formed in Campeche in 1962. With a career spanning more than six decades, they have influenced generations and remain one of the most important names in tropical and cumbia music.

In the 1970s they set a new standard with the hit Vamos a Platicar, a song later featured in Alfonso Cuarón’s award winning film Roma. In 1985 they became the first Mexican group nominated for a Grammy, and in 1999 they reached international success with Llorar, which topped charts across Mexico, the United States, and Central America.

Their latest project Los Socios del Ritmo Hoy features collaborations with artists such as Alexander Acha, El Mimoso, and Daniel Gutiérrez of La Gusana Ciega. With countless hits, Grammy nominations, and generations of loyal fans, Los Socios del Ritmo continue to shine as pioneers of Mexican tropical music.
